Igbo United Account Deletion

Igbo United members may request permanent deletion of their Igbo United App account and associated personal data.

Request deletion from the app:
Open the Igbo United App → Settings → Request Account Deletion → Submit Request.

Request deletion without the app:
Email igbounited1@gmail.com with the subject “Igbo United Account Deletion Request.” Please send the request from the email address associated with your account when possible and include enough account information for us to verify your identity.

After verification, Igbo United will process the request and permanently delete the account and associated personal data, including profile/account information and other personal information associated with the account, subject to limited information that may need to be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, membership-integrity, legal, or regulatory purposes.

A limited record may be retained where necessary to identify previous account deletion/removal and protect the integrity and security of Igbo United membership. This limited record is not used to preserve the deleted member's former profile, messages, photographs, SOS evidence, or other deleted account content.

Rejoining Igbo United:
Account deletion does not guarantee future re-entry. A person who later applies again may be required to undergo additional vetting and special leadership review.
